Getze Uscanga has been with the Calgary Catholic School District for seven years, where she enjoys sharing her language and culture with students and contributing to their learning journey.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Mount Royal University and a Bachelor of Education from St. Mary’s University. Currently, she is completing her first year of a Master of Education in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Educational Neuroscience.
Her passion and curiosity for language acquisition and development have inspired her to explore the bilingual brain deeply.
Having previously presented at Encuentro as part of a student team, Getze is excited to return and share her learning with her peers.
